Englehart (District Hospital) Heliport (CNS3) Guide

Thank you so much.... I know people RAG on the services that they get around here. Let's face it. We're in the middle of bump blasted nowhere. So lucky to have such a good facility. So close.I mean it's not like you're checking in there for surgery.We need help sometimes.And these guys are there for us... I walked in there with a foreign body In my eye within 1 hour, I walked out of there. They removed the foreign body and sent me home with some antibacterial... I could have driven hours in each direction to get the Same Kind of Professional, dignified necessary service that I got right here. Thank you.. The locom doctor was amazing

The one cleaner I think her name was Sheryl was so nice !! She did an amazing job and she was so kind ! Soft spoken and made me feel like I really mattered !! I can tell she's really hard working and she shines a light everywhere she goes !! Give her raise please !! :)

Sat in hard chairs with open post surgical incision needing care for 5 hours. They took in everyone worker comp, diaper rash etc there were no heart attacks, no bleeding, no strokes why I was ignored I don’t know. I sought how to care for burst incision since appt to see surgeon in Sudbury is 2 week wait. Incision was swollen infected now edges are healed but not together. I was missing meals, meds and didn’t have insulin. Had no idea wait would be over 5 hours. I had to go home!! I glued my own steri strip pulled what I could together over dermis. Ontario health care has gone to the dogs or maybe they just don’t care about older people who paid 45 years taxes into health care system. Lovely little hospital too bad their triage doesn’t triage serious cases first. I won’t be donating my millions life policy to this facility.

I am very upset with Englehart Hospital. My mom had an appointment on May 16 at 1 o’clock for an x-ray of her arm. The paperwork that the x-ray department received from Elk Lake Nursing Station said that it was for her wrist. My mom is an elderly lady and was in severe pain and said no it’s for my arm, not my wrist can you please check my arm (which we did ask for it to be her arm to be checked not her wrist) I understand there’s protocol to follow but one I’m sure they could have did an x-ray of her arm instead of the wrist, if she would’ve went to the emergency, they would’ve done it and to top it all off, the lady who is doing the x-ray was quite rude 😡 I didn’t even wanna put one star, but it won’t let you post it unless you do a star rating The time my mom came home her arm was almost bigger than her leg That’s how swollen it got

I have been in many hospitals throughout Ontario. This is by far the worst. Dr had no bedside matter telling my family member's and my brother in law that there us nothing they can do for him and he us gonna die. We knew this but did it gave to be said in front of the patient??? Not once but many times. Some of the nurses were very kind to me and my family others were just rude. They sure do things different in the north. There are many more instances that took place. But we will wait till our lawyer gets in touch.

so slow. even the city is faster service! no body checks on you either.

I received an aerochamber I guess. I originally was given Ventolin though now I've got Salbutimol. They've been good with me in my opinion of having been there. My opinion is quite contrussive as the man that I am, at least now. The root of my issues wouldn't help due to the complexity of what I've been going through. The hospital staff seemed courteous regardless of when I went there.

My son quickly received exceptional quality care at this hospital this afternoon. The young male doctor and 2 nurses were amazing. This little hospital is a gem in our area.
